AstraZeneca PLC, the world’s leading pharmaceutical company, has entered into an agreement with Eli Lilly and Company to pay $1 billion for the exclusive rights to sell, manufacture and supply tadalafil (Cialis®), a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.
